The method is dependent on the specific extraction technique. Either the Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) or Follicular Unit Transplant (FUT).

The hair follicles are divided into their natural groupings. From one to four hair follicular units. The hairs are kept hydrated and healthy by being stored in a holding solution. Microscopes are used when preparing the grafts. To ensure the quality of each hair follicle is maintained.

RECIPIENT SITES

The recipient area is numbed with anesthesia. The Doctor then begins to make tiny incisions in the area. Designing the shape of the hairline and temples. The slits are closely packed together in an irregular pattern. With the distance between each hair dependent on the the size of the hair units to be used. Care is also taken to alter the angle, depth and orientation of the slit depending on the area of the scalp.
